FORTUNE FAVORS THE BRAVE

PUBLIUS TERENCE

Publius Terence was a roman comic dramatist from 195-159 B.C. Born as a slave, he was taken to Rome, where he was educated and later freed. He wrote 6 plays during his life, and this quote was taken from one of them. It has always astounded me that anytime you want to learn something new, you can find it in history. Over two thousand years ago we find a playwright who understands the concept of courage and bravery. Fortune favors the brave, we can also say “show me a man who never had a chance and i’ll show you a man who never took a chance”. I’m not sure who said that, but if you know for sure I will give credit here. These two statements say it all though really. If you want success in life or business, you must take a chance. Playing it safe is not an option. Once you know what you want to do, and have a plan of action. The next step is to TAKE ACTION. All the dreams and plans in the world, don’t add up to a hill of beans if somebody doesn’t take real tangible action to make them happen. Which do you desire, dreams or real wealth? If your answer is ” real wealth” then kick yourself in the backside and get busy. No one else is going to make your dreams come true , for you.

So. What are you waiting for? GET BUSY.

Remember

OPPORTUNITIES KNOCK

HAVE THE COURAGE TO ANSWER
